• All socials are business casual dress- no shirt, no shoes, no service but don’t feel like you need to wear a tuxedo.
• There are busses to the opening night in Niagara Falls and to the Pierce Arrow Museum on Thursday. Friday is a short walk from the Hyatt to Town Ballroom.
• There will be food and drink at all socials.
• We were hoping that everyone could experience some snow while in Buffalo. Unfortunately, the weather looks like high 70’s and lows in the mid 60’s at night which is about as perfect as it gets. Dress appropriately.

Wednesday Registration and the Falls

Registration is at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo from 12pm to 4pm. However, if you are one of a handful of people that are planning to head straight to the opening social due to travel- your badge will be available at our venue in Niagara Falls.

Busses will be leaving from the Hyatt starting at 2pm and will continuously run with the last bus leaving at 4pm. However, see below to help you decide when you will want to get on that bus.

Where are we going exactly? Included with your Nerve pass is a ticket to hop on the world famous Maid of the Mist boat tour of Niagara Falls prior to our opening ceremony. If you want to take advantage of this experience- do your best to be on the early busses. You will be given a pass to experience the Maid of the Mist and will be done in time for the opening remarks. If you don’t get on the bus until after 2:30pm, you may not have time to enjoy this particular activity but will still have time to see the Falls.

About the Maid of the Mist- it’s awesome! You will likely get a little wet although you will be provided with a poncho. There is also an inside section of the boat that you can stay within to help keep you dry. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

If you don’t want to do the Maid of the Mist- no problem, if you take the earlier busses you will still have time to explore Niagara Falls State Park and check out Niagara Falls.

At 4pm- we will convene at The Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls (address below) for happy hour, opening remarks, our first keynote (you don’t want to miss), and our opening party with food and drink. Busses will start heading back at 7:30pm and will run until 9pm.

Weather permitting- a good portion of this event will be outside.

Thursday Social

Busses will shuttle continuously from the Hyatt Regency Buffalo to the Pierce Arrow Museum starting at 5:30pm and will run until 9pm. This Americana-inspired event is inside and includes food and drink.

Friday Social

The Friday social is in the heart of the Buffalo theatre district at a popular music venue called the Town Ballroom. It is a short walk from the Hyatt. What to wear? Dancing shoes for sure as we will be entertained by Lucky Chops (you will love it). Along with your dancing shoes wear whatever you are most comfortable in- you will see the full spectrum this evening as this is the same night as the annual theatre season opening event called Curtain Up! There will be people (not with Nerve) in tuxedos, and there will be people wearing business casual enjoying the excitement on the streets.
